Therapy with Marty · LMSW
You don’t need better answers.
You need room to be real.
Therapy for teens and adults who are tired of holding it together, overthinking everything, or feeling like they should be doing “better” by now.
“You’re the expert on your life. I bring curiosity, perspective, and a willingness to sit with the complicated parts.”
— How I approach therapyTherapy with me
Less clinical distance.
More honest conversation.
I’m not here to hand you a worksheet and pretend it fixes everything. We’ll slow down, notice patterns, name what’s actually happening, and figure out what change could look like in your real life.
That might mean getting serious. It might mean laughing at how absurd things feel. Usually, it’s a little of both.
Who I work with
You might feel at home here if…
You’re a teen or adult who thinks deeply—and sometimes can’t turn it off.
You’re navigating culture, masculinity, identity, or where you belong.
You look “fine” from the outside but feel anxious, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted.
You’re an athlete, lifter, gamer, anime fan, creative, or someone who rarely sees yourself reflected in therapy.

About me
I know strength can be complicated.
I became a therapist after learning firsthand that looking strong and feeling okay are not the same thing. I’m a third-generation Mexican American clinician, longtime lifter, anime and gaming person, and believer that therapy works better when you don’t have to edit out half of who you are.

Therapy FAQ
Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?+
Not at all. You can show up with a clear goal, a messy pile of thoughts, or just the sense that something needs to change. We’ll sort it out together.
What if we’re not a good fit?+
That happens—and it’s okay. The consultation is there to help both of us get a feel for fit. If I’m not the right person, I’ll be honest about that.
Is therapy virtual or in person?+
Virtual therapy is available to clients located anywhere in Texas. In-person availability can be discussed during your consultation.
Do you work with teens?+
Yes. I work with adolescents as well as adults, with space for identity, family dynamics, school stress, culture, sports, gaming, music, and the actual world teens live in.
